By repurposing cut-offs and wool remnants from our own knitwear production, we created new yarns, which were then woven into blankets, and knitted into accessories. This sustainable approach reduces waste while producing unique, eco-friendly pieces.

The Process
By repurposing cut-offs and wool remnants from our own knitwear production, we created new yarns, which were then woven into blankets, and knitted into accessories. This sustainable approach reduces waste while producing unique, eco-friendly pieces.
KIDKA cut offs were shredded to their original form. The mix was then blended with merino lambs wool, and the recycled blend was re-spun into new yarns. The result is a 40% mix of recycled Icelandic wool and 60% merino lambs wool.
